Professor Dilmurat Azimov from the UH Mānoa College of Engineering has been named to the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA) Class of 2026 Associate Fellows—a recognition given to only one in 150 AIAA members each year. The honor highlights his groundbreaking work in trajectory optimization and flight vehicle control, which helps advance next-generation aerospace systems. Congrats to Professor Azimov for this well-deserved recognition and for representing Hawaiʻi in the global aerospace community!
