PISCES staff Ashley Truchan (L) and Amber Imai-Hong (R) at Kea’au High School on March 14.

On Friday, March 14, we had the pleasure of engaging with local students eager to explore career paths at the Keaʻau High School College and Career Fair. Our team members Ashley Truchan and Amber Imai-Hong mixed hundreds of packets of slime with students as a demonstration of PISCES’s materials science research for in-situ resource utilization (ISRU). They also connected with young women interested in STEM, sharing details about the upcoming STARS summer program for high schoolers. It was inspiring to meet and engage so many bright, aspiring minds!
