Come down to the University of Hawai’i at Hilo on Nov. 15 for an exciting space talk from a five time shuttle astronaut and MIT Professor of Aerospace Engineering, Dr. Jeff Hoffman. Dr. Hoffman will discuss what went wrong with the Hubble Space Telescope and how we were able to fix it in orbit. He will also share his personal experience with NASA, and the Journey to Mars program. He’s currently on Hawai’i Island as a scientist working on the BASALT Research Project which is developing procedures for a manned mission to the Red Planet!
