Keaau’s “LunaTech” robotics team competed at the VEX IQ state championship on Oahu earlier this month. The elementary students earned the “Design Award” and will now compete at the 2016 VEX IQ World Challenge.

The competition will begin in April and will be held in Louisville, Kentucky. Along with Keaau, Kohala High School on the Big Island will also be competing.
