Kimo Pihana
One of the Pacific International Space Center for Explorations Systems’ cultural committee advisors spoke about the history of Hawaii’s connection to space during a galaxy forum in Waimea, Hawaii on Nov. 12.
Kimo Pihana, a Native Hawaiian cultural practitioner, was invited to be the keynote speaker at the event. The discussion was held to promote global awareness, capabilities and action in Galaxy science, exploration and enterprise.
