NASA is inviting the public to select their favorite image of the moon from a collection taken by the Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter (LRO) to celebrate its fifth anniversary in space.  The winning selection will don the cover of a special compilation of photos called “The Moon as Art,” and includes new perspectives of the moon taken from different parts of the electromagnetic spectrum.  There are five stunning images to choose from and the winning selection will be announced June 18th when the collection is released.  Voting begins May 30th and will close June 6th.  Vote for your favorite at: http://lro.gsfc.nasa.gov/MoonArt.
