PISCES is excited to announce its sixth-annual Women’s STARS (STEM Aerospace Research Scholars) Program for Hawaii high school girls. In addition to aerospace and astronomy, this year’s program will offer exposure to a wider variety of STEM topics and careers than previous years. 

The 2019 STARS Program will include:

  • Maunakea observatory summit tours;
  • Tour and overnight stay at the HI-SEAS Habitat on Mauna Loa;
  • Presentations by female astronomers, engineers, scientists and educators;
  • Tours and activities at NELHA’s Hawaii Ocean Science & Technology Park;
  • Robotics and Rocketry workshops & more!

Applications will become available for download on Monday, March 25, and may be submitted online. The program is tentatively scheduled for the week of June 24. Stay tuned for further details!
