Members of the University of Hawaii at Hilo’s robotics club will be making their inaugural appearance next week at the NASA Robotics Mining Competition at Kennedy Space Center in Florida.
According to a recent article in the Hawaii Tribune-Herald, they are among 50 college teams from around the country that will be competing May 16-20. The competition inspires participants to design and build a mining robot that can excavate and traverse Martian terrain.
