The Pacific International Space Center for Exploration Systems (PISCES) in collaboration with Keaau High School, Hawaii Community College, Civil Air Patrol and the U.S. Air Force Color Guard will be honoring the life and legacy of Hawaii astronaut and Big Island native Ellison Onizuka during a remembrance ceremony on Thursday, Jan. 28 at Keaau High School.

The event will also feature an unveiling of a restored Space Shuttle Flight Simulator worked on by the students from Keaau High School’s Automotive and Construction Academy, as well as performances by the school’s Taiko club.
