Former PISCES intern Melissa Adams, who recently returned from her 10-week Sally Ride Internship at NASA’s Johnson Space Center in Texas, has returned to work for PISCES as a Site Characterization Specialist.
“I feel blessed and honored to be working with such wonderful people again,” said Adams. “I am excited to work on the upcoming projects. I have already had great opportunities working with PISCES in the past and hope that I can be as much of an asset to them as they have been for me.”
Adams is in her senior year at the University of Hawaii-Hilo studying Geology. At PISCES, she is tasked with analyzing field data collected at planetary analogue sites, and standardizing it into a common user database. Her efforts will assist with future data collection, allowing PISCES staff and interns to record and evaluate information more efficiently and effectively.
From everyone at PISCES, welcome back to the team Melissa!
