Team Puli, an official Google Lunar XPRIZE (GLXP) contestant from Hungary, just flew into Hilo late last night and their baggage includes a robotic spacecraft! Team Puli will make their first public appearance tomorrow at the Imiloa Astronomy Center. Come see their robot in action!
WHY HAWAII?
The Pacific International Space Center for Exploration Systems, or PISCES, is hosting Team Puli – an official contestant vying for the $30 MILLION Google Lunar X Prize. Whoever can successfully launch and land a robotic spacecraft on the Moon and drive it 5000 meters while transmitting HD images and video back to Earth…wins.
